HOST YOUR OWN
Tech Bus Tours was originally an initiative by Kisky Netmedia funded by ICDC and with additional sponsor support from BBC Backstage and Sun Startup Essentials. Now we've completed two Tech Bus Tours; one to Thinking Digital and one To b.TWEEN we have lots of ideas for how to take this further. We've been approached by lots of people interested in running more Tech Bus Tours events.
So we've decided to continue to support the project but to open source it somewhat. We've devised a way we can offer some support to organizations wishing to host a Tech Bus Tour. ICDC will offer some assistance with project management and Marketing and Kisky Netmedia will offer assistance in suggesting speakers and hosts for your journey.
THE RULES
The only 'rules' are...
- A Tech Bus Tour is about networking people together (and likely to be aimed at participants in the creative, technology and media industries)
- A Tech Bus Tour is not just a 'transport project'
- A Tech Bus Tour is about encouraging participants to, well,... participate!
- A Tech Bus Tour has technology on board, but it's about people
- A Tech Bus Tour is fun and entertaining

- We promote the tour via techbustours.com - we list the event for you
- We promote the tour via twitter.com/techbustours - and personally
Additional Support
- Project Management Support
- Helping you understand what works, what doesn't etc
- Suggesting speakers / hosts
- Additional marketing to Tech Companies and organizations in UK
Your Contribution
- Manage the Coach Hire - we can put you in touch with Ellisons who we recommend
- Liaise with speakers / hosts
- Market your Tech Bus Tour to your participants and get them excited
- You can decide if you wish to offer travel for free or charge for tickets - up to you
